Sometimes there are people that cross your path you are just truly thankful for. Alissa has become a dear friend over the past couple years because of the impact she has had on my son’s love of learning. The best 1st grade teacher anyone could ask for who just got my kid. But she is genuinely beautiful all the way through and I know the whole community is thankful we snagged her with a local boy here in Clarksdale, MS. So when I was honored enough to be asked to photograph Alissa and Nelson’s wedding, I was so excited. The whole wedding party had such a wonderful goofy and supportive vibe the whole day and were just great to hang out with. Clarksdale’s famous White House provided an amazing backdrop for Alissa getting ready with her girls. And the Traveler’s Hotel provided the perfect place for warming up in between photos on this December day. Everything turned out beautifully and it was wonderful to see these two families come together to celebrate this awesome couple.
